A once weekly psycho-educational and support group for family and friends of addicted individuals, regardless of whether they are working toward recovery or not. If you are just starting out, this may be a good place for you to get more of your questions answered. If your loved one is well on the road to recovery, but you find yourself in need of some support, this group is for you, too. The aim is to help family and friends of the addicted to better understand the disease of addiction and what they can and can’t do about it – Emphasis will be on self-care, plus detached love and support of their addicted loved-one.
Sessions are held 7:00-8:30pm on Tuesday nights at:
201 S Shelby Street
Indianapolis, IN 46202
…in the boardroom, except on nights when the Progress House board is meeting, then we’ll be in the chapel.
Cost to participants, $10, collected in-session. But, come and try it once for free!
No need to call in advance. Simply show up and tell the person at the front desk that you are there for the Family Support Group. Paused due to lack of participants! Call, if you’d like to participate and want me to restart this service.
